Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of woltix.com (the “Site”), operated by Woltix (“Woltix”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
These terms apply to the Site only. Use of the Woltix platform itself is governed by the separate written agreement between Woltix and the customer firm; where that agreement and these terms conflict, that agreement prevails.
1. Nothing here is financial advice
Woltix supplies software, not investment services.
Nothing on this Site is, or should be relied on as, investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting or regulatory advice, nor a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument, nor an invitation to invest in any fund or strategy.
Woltix is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, custodian, fund manager, bank or financial institution, and does not manage, hold or take custody of client assets. We do not exercise investment discretion on anyone’s behalf.
Any figures, portfolios, screens, valuations, risk measures or returns shown on this Site are illustrative examples using sample or anonymized data. They are not the results of any real client account, and they do not predict or guarantee any outcome. Past performance is not a guide to future performance, and the value of investments can fall as well as rise.
Investment decisions are made by the firms and individuals who use our software, on their own responsibility and subject to their own regulatory obligations. Always take professional advice suited to your circumstances.
2. Product descriptions
We describe our software as accurately as we can, but the Site is marketing material, not a specification. Features, modules, integrations, data sources and interfaces change over time and may differ between deployments, versions, jurisdictions and contractual tiers. Availability of any particular capability is confirmed only in a written agreement or order form.
Where the Site refers to analytical methods — performance attribution, Value at Risk, return forecasting, rebalancing and similar — these are models. All models rest on assumptions and on the quality of the data supplied to them, and can be wrong. Outputs must be reviewed by qualified people before they are relied upon.
Statements about our plans or direction are forward-looking and are not commitments.
3. Third-party names and trademarks
The Site names third-party organisations and products — including but not limited to Allfunds, Morningstar, LSEG and Lipper, FE fundinfo, Bloomberg, Google, GitHub, Anthropic and Claude — to describe interoperability, supported file formats, data sources and integration targets.
All such names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Their use here is nominative and descriptive only. It does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, certification, affiliation or approval, in either direction, unless we state so explicitly in writing.
4. Our intellectual property
Except for the third-party marks above, all content on this Site — text, graphics, layout, logos, icons, code, design and the Woltix name — is owned by Woltix or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
You may view the Site, and print or download extracts for your own internal, non-commercial evaluation of our software. You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page.
You may not otherwise copy, republish, redistribute, frame, sell, or create derivative works from the Site, or remove any proprietary notice, without our prior written consent.
Automated access. Search engines and AI crawlers may crawl and index this Site in line with our robots.txt and llms.txt. We ask that AI systems quoting this Site attribute it to Woltix and link to woltix.com. Automated access that degrades the Site for others is not permitted.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to break the law, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any connected system, to probe or test its security without our written permission, to introduce malicious code, to submit anyone else’s personal data without their authority, or to send spam or fraudulent enquiries through our form.
6. Links to other sites
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee it. It may be unavailable, interrupted or changed at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance or any other reason, and we are not liable for any resulting unavailability.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that information on the Site is complete, current or free of error, and we may change it at any time without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woltix, its directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated saving, data, or investment loss, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Site after that means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates shall have exclusive jurisdiction — except that, if you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
