This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit woltix.com or contact us through this website.

It covers the website only. If your firm is a Woltix customer, the processing of portfolio and client data inside the platform is governed by your service agreement and its data processing addendum, not by this page.

Woltix is the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect, and why

1. Information you send us

If you submit the demo request form we receive the name (optional), work email address and message you type in.

• Why: to reply to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to arrange a demo.
• Legal basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f)).
• How long: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. If you become a customer, your contact details move under the customer agreement.
• We do not add you to a newsletter, sell your details, or share them with anyone for their own marketing.

2. Analytics

With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful.

• Why: to understand how the site is used and improve it.
• Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Analytics cookies are set only after you click “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner.
• If you do not consent: no analytics cookie or identifier is stored. Google receives a cookieless, non-identifying signal used only for aggregate estimates.
• IP addresses are shortened by Google before storage and are never used by us to identify individual visitors.

3. Server logs

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub records standard request data — IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and to serve the site.

• Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• We do not have access to these logs and cannot link them to you.

Who else processes your data

We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, session recording, heatmaps, or A/B testing tools on this site.

International transfers

Woltix is established in the United Arab Emirates, and the processors above operate in the United States and elsewhere. Where personal data of individuals in the EEA or United Kingdom is transferred outside those territories, we rely on adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in the table above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it (“right to be forgotten”);
• restrict or object to our processing of it;
• receive a portable copy of it;
• withdraw consent at any time — this does not affect processing that already happened while consent was in place.

To exercise any of these, email contact@woltix.com. We will respond within 30 days. You never need an account, and it costs nothing.

You can change your cookie choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.

If you are in the EEA or UK and you think we have handled your data badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in the UAE, you may contact the UAE Data Office.

Children

This site is aimed at financial professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Traffic to woltix.com is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS). Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and delivered to a restricted internal mailbox. No website is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data this site collects.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes affecting how we use your data will also be announced in the cookie banner.
